A section of Jubilee leaders from Embu county have told leaders from small parties to keep off the county saying it strictly a jubilee zone.
The leaders led by Runyenjes MP Cecily Mbarire, said that most of the leaders trying to sell other small parties in the county were in Jubilee and decamped after sensing defeat and thus they should prepare to have a thorough beating come august 8.
The legislator said that residents of Embu are enlightened and will not be trapped into joining small parties without a vision and which will only take them to the opposition.
Mbarire said that despite the assurance that the Jubilee Party nominations will be free and fair, the leaders decamped to PNU, Maendeleo Chap Chap and Narc Kenya and are now trying to use the presidents name to endear themselves to the electorate.
The legislator said that the President was very clear that all the small parties should be merged to form one party and thus small parties should stop lying to the electorate that they are supporting the President.
Mbarire who is running for the Embu gubernatorial seat said that the county will deliver all the elective seats to the Jubilee Party and thus the small parties should stop wasting their time and keep off the county.
The legislator welcomed the move by Governor Martin Wambora to remain in Jubilee to face her in the nominations, exuding confidence that she will be the party’s flag bearer for August polls.
