Eight people have been burnt to death in Napeiton village, Kapedo in Turkana county by suspected Pokot bandits.
Turkana East Sub-county commander Solomon Kosgey said the bandits attacked the village yesterday night killing the victims and razing down 101 houses
Two people sustained burn injuries and are admitted to Lokori Sub-county Hospital.
Police officers have been sent to pursue the arsonists who have since escaped in Suguta Valley.
Humanitarian organisations have requested to take food, water, and medication to the area.
