One shot after thugs raid Chinese nationals’ house in Karen

A guard was shot and injured after thugs raided a house occupied by two Chinese nationals in Karen, Nairobi on Monday.

The criminals made away with an unknown amount of money and electronic goods during the dawn attack.

Police said the victim was in a team of security guards who responded to a distress call raised by the Chinese nationals.

The officer, who is privy to the case, said one of the guards was injured in the hip by the gunmen.

“However, the attackers managed to escape on foot.  We are following crucial leads on the same.”
