Mudavadi’s political steps ahead of his big announcement

Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, is living up to his pronouncement late last year of running as the the country’s 5th president come the August’s general election.

On Sunday, he is expected to “surprise” the nation on the direction the National Congress will take.

He has attracted attention lately with both Raila and UDA leader William Ruto exploring coalition opportunities with ANC there is no clear indication if Musalia will join either team or support an Oka candidate if he is not chosen as the flag bearer.

He may want to give Kenya a choice alongside the others including Jimmy Wanjingi.

In the period between 2013-2022 he could have gained popularity with chances of him garnering more votes.

Raila and Ruto have however set the bar too high as they have deployed active voter engagement yet the campaign has not yet officially begun Oka needs to firm up their strategy to ensure they stand a chance.
