A day after Embu Senator Leny Kivuti ditched the jubilee party, he has already started facing rebellion with a section of Maendeleo Chap Chap party members cautioning the new entrants that they will not tolerate wrangles and bulldozing in the party.
Yesterday Senator Kivuti led a section of leaders from embu in ditching jubilee party who include deputy governor Dorothy Nditi, Muriuki Njagagua, former Manyatta MP Emilio Kathuri and 10 MCAs who are set to officially join the party tommorow.
Led by Maendeleo Chap Chap co-founder Leonard Muriuki, the members have welcomed anyone who wants to join their party but reminded them that their party has rules and regulations that must be followed.
Muriuki who is eyeing Embu gubernatorial seat reminded those with intentions of wanting to take over that they will not allowed to bring their wrangles and chest thumping to chap chap as it has been witnessed in jubilee party.
Muriuki also warned Kivuti to be wary if he is running away from jubilee because nominations, he should be ready fro a tougher task at cha chap during the party primaries.
Speaking after launching a football tournament at Njukiri in Manyatta, Muriuki reitatrated that the party nominations will be free and Fair and there are already aspirants who have paid and so there will be no ticket on a silver platter fro anyone.
He said that currently there is one gubernatorial aspirant, 1 senator, two MPs and 11 MCA aspirants who have expressed intentions to vie on a Maendeleo Chap Chap party.
Muriuki also noted that the party will consider a board room agreement on the best way to come up with the most suitable candidate for the Embu gubernatorial seat.
