Chief Justice David Maraga cast his vote on Thursday afternoon at Bosose Primary School in Nyamira County.
Photos of Justice Maraga, who annulled the August 8th election that culminated in Thursday’s election, casting his vote caused a frenzy on social media perhaps because of the controversy surrounding the repeat poll.
The move by the CJ to take part in the election sparked mixed reactions with some online users criticizing him while others lauded him for what they said was respecting the rule of law.
