Jubilee leaders in Murang’a County have vowed to continue pushing for the new elections laws in both parliament and the senate despite Raila’s demand to have them quash the decision to amend laws for him to agree to participate in October 26th polls.
Speaking when they traversed in Murang’a county, they enlightened the citizens on the need to have the laws amended so that they do not fall into the same constitution crisis.
Kiharu Member of Parliament Mr. Ndindi Nyoro said that the new law will give the deputy Chairperson of IEBC powers or another IEBC Commissioner the powers to declare a presidential result in the case of the Chairperson boycotting to do so.
