A worker attached to Nakuru county government was hit and killed by a motorist along the Nairobi-Nakuru near Ihindu center in Naivasha.
The incident came hours after a casual laborer was hit and killed by a personal car near Karai estate while crossing the busy highway.
In the last three months, close to ten pedestrians have been hit and killed by motorists in different parts of the highway raising concern among area residents.
In the recent incident, the county worker who is attached to Ihindu market was crossing the busy highway when he was hit by a car.
A witness James Kabono said the worker was rushed to Naivasha sub-county hospital but died a day later while undergoing treatment.
Kabono attributed the accident to lack of speed-bumps in the trading center noting that this should be addressed with immediate effect.
