A middle-aged man Sunday afternoon died following a road accident involving three vehicles on the Mai Mahiu-Narok road.
The accident that involved a water tanker and two personal cars left four other people injured.
According to an eye witness Marcus King’ori, the tanker was heading towards Narok from Mai Mahiu when it lost control and rammed into the rear of the two vehicles.
“It’s not clear what happened but the driver hit two cars in front of him before losing control and landing into a nearby ditch and in the process the conductor died,” he said.
He added that four passengers in the personal cars were injured, two of them seriously, and rushed to various hospitals.
Confirming the incident, Mai Mahiu OCS Ezra Sambu said the bodies of the minor and the conductor had been taken to Naivasha mortuary.
He said the injured were taken to Kijabe Mission hospital adding that two of them were treated and discharged while the other two were undergoing treatment.
