The National Police Service has promoted several police officers to the rank of Chief Inspectors and transferred them to new stations. The concerned officers are required to report to their new stations immediately.
Kenya Police Service Deputy Inspector General of Police Joel Kitili approved the reshuffle vide a circular dated August 23, 2017. Kitili directed all officers to be in their new work stations by September 7.
Among those affected include Kendu Bay OCS Simon Peter who has been moved to Kisii County headquarters, Keroka OCS Pius Kiprono posted to Mutomo while Siaya Traffic base commander Julius Mutembei will take over in Vihiga in the same capacity.
Matuu Traffic base commander Ahamed Mohamed Sirat will now be the new Bomet deputy base commander to replace Pamela Mwita who has been moved to Nairobi traffic patrol section.
