Comedian Mulamwah dispel car repossession rumours

Kenyan comedian, radio presenter, and digital content creator, David Oyando aka Mulamwah, has dismissed reports making rounds that his sleek ride, a black Mercedez Benz registration number KDL  891J, has been repossessed due to some unpaid loan.

Mulamwah, a presenter at Mediamax-owned radio station Milele FM, took to his Instagram to rubbish the viral rumours, even going further to post a picture of the said car’s logbook, in an effort to prove that all is well in his “empire”.

The content creator also shared photos of the car in question and his mansion that is under construction.

In addition, the father of three gave a disclaimer that he was not posting them to show off, but rather to celebrate his achievements.

He wrote: “Just because it is difficult doesn’t mean it is impossible. Let us learn to appreciate everyone’s efforts and celebrate their achievements. Always be proud of your little steps in life. We don’t post to show off, we don’t compete we post to show that situations can always change and that you can come from nothing to something.

“Bora bidii na God mbele. Always take it as motivation and not as an attack because the cake is too big. move slow but move correctly. Let the year begin. Much love team konki. wale wa search floor is yours.

The comedian added that henceforth, he would not be clearing any social media rumour about him adding that whenever he posts something there is always a negative reaction.

“Ukipost benzo unaringa na show off , ukijipost kwa mandizi ati una embrace poverty . Wapendwa tufanye? Ati ni loan, ukipost log book ati you don’t need to prove Am not proving any other rumours,” he wrote.

He also shared his revenue sources, including a motorbike business, YouTube earnings, events and endorsements, among others.

“Mulamwah’s sources of income are over 40 bikes skiza tunes over – 100 pieces on YouTube. endorsements voice artist red dot ent / mullamwah ent actor/films appearances monetized Skits Milele Fm presenter bookings & events stand-up comedy international relations farmer maombi ya kijiji mzima (sic),” Mulamwah posted.

On December 16, 2024, the content creator disclosed that he had successfully saved Sh1.1 million in 2024 through a disciplined daily savings challenge.
