I depended on my wife for four years, comedian Terence Creative confess

In recent times, there has been a debate in the social media streets, with various people weighing-in on the controversial topic of whether it is acceptable for a man to depend on his woman for upkeep.

Obviously, there are those who have supported the notion that there was no problem when a man depends on her woman’s finances, especially when his fortunes are against him.

Popular Kenyan comedian Lawrence Macharia, popularly known as Terence Creative, has been a proponent of that notion.

Terence says he sees no problem with a man depending on his woman’s money, especially if he isn’t financially stable.

He confesses that at some point in his life he depended on his wife Milly Chebby’s money for more than four years.

“Hakuna shida boyfriend kuwekwa na girlfriend. Ladies if he is not financially stable and you are, support him and respect him until he is stable. Give him your money as the head of the house awapange. Usianike mume wako mbele ya watu.” His post on Instagram reads in part.

“Mimi niliwekwa for four years plus, my then girlfriend @millychebby who is my wife now of 11 years plus, used to pay 98.9% of all our bills. Wacheni kuanika waume zenu ipo siku watakuwa stable na watawaweka, kwa sasa mvumilie na yeye ajitume.” He added.

Radio personality Carol Radull weighed-in on the matter saying: “A good man is a good man and is worth supporting/investing in. But ladies, support a bad man at your own risk. Speaking for a friend.”

Instagram user @mariewabwile said, “Unaweka mwanaume akipata pesa anatafuta type yake after suffering.”
