The Co-operative Bank yesterday took part during the two days 13th annual conference of the Kenya Teachers Sacco Association (KETSA) as a key sponsor focused on empowerment.
The meeting was held at the Sportview Hotel in Kasarani, Nairobi having commenced on August 29, 2024.
The conference brought together leaders from teachers sacco across the country under the theme dubbed ‘Inspire, Impact and Empower’.
Speaking at the event, Vincent Marangu, Co-operative Bank Director in charge of Cooperatives Division called the teachers’ sacco leaders to uphold diligence in resource management and good governance of the saccos.
He further encouraged the leaders to conduct clean business and to leverage on ecosytem banking to expand profitability.

Kenya Teachers Sacco Association chairman Robert Njue, expressed his appreciation for Co-op Bank’s involvement, acknowledging their significant role in providing the financial support necessary for saccos to thrive.
Njue thanked the bank for its ongoing partnership and support, which has been instrumental in advancing KETSA’s mission.
