An elderly man was today charged before a Milimani Law court for alleged conspiracy to defraud a parcel of land belonging to Messer’s Langton Investments Limited.
A senior citizen has been charged today for defrauding Massars Langton Investments Limited valued at Sh1.6billion.
Appearing before Milimani Magistrate Martha Nazushi, Francis Muhuhu Ndinguri denied the two charges levelled against him of intent to defraud and forgery.
According to the charge sheet, the accused person on diverse dates between January 4 and September 15, 2023, conspired to defraud the Messer’s Langton Investments Limited a parcel of Land measuring 21.85hectares valued at Sh1,619,700,000.
The parcel in question is land reference number No.28401 of IR No.152720situated along Northern Bypass Road in Nairobi.
He was also charged with forging a land registration certificate of the said land pretending it to be genuine.
However, Muhuhu was released on a Sh5million bond. The prosecution did not object to the bond terms granted to the accused.
