Co-op Bank host investors’ forum in Taita Taveta
The Co-operative Bank has scaled up customer networking forums for Micro, Small & Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and Saccos aimed at seeing the bank train its customers countrywide on strategies to grow their businesses in changing operating environments.
While addressing an investors’ forum facilitated by the bank yesterday, Co-operative Bank Head of Business Banking Moses Gitau gave insights to entrepreneurs drawn from Taita Taveta county during a forum hosted in Voi.
“Today at Avid Hotel Voi, Co-operative Bank hosted a business engagement forum with business owners in Taita Taveta. Co-operative Bank Head of Business Banking, Moses Gitau shared valuable insights on Taita Taveta’s economic landscape. Clients had a chance to connect and review business performance against the challenging market conditions.” The bank posted on their official X handle.
This is one of the many forums the bank has been convening countrywide sensitising entrepreneurs on the available business opportunities and how the bank can support them to nurture entrepreneurial acumen and offer financial support.
Such forums have been held in in Nyandarua, Laikipia, Turkana and Nairobi counties among others.
They feature a detailed presentation by the bank economist on the opportunities in and out of the country that MSMEs can tap and the ways the bank is working to enable customers seize these opportunities.
