The Co-operative Bank of Kenya Limited has injected Sh500,000 sponsorship kitty to the Homa Bay Investment International Conference scheduled for next week.
Co-operative Bank Homa Bay branch team led by branch Manager Walter Ombare have since handed over a sponsorship cheque worth Sh500,000 to Homa Bay governor Gladys Wanga.

Wanga (CBS) towards the Homa Bay Investment Conference to be held from 27th to 29th Feb 2024.The Bank is proud to collaborate in the event that seeks to showcase and attract investment by local and international investors in the county.” The bank said through an update on X (formerly Twitter).
The conference themed “Unlocking the Bay of Endless Potential,” is projected to attract over 2000 delegates, agencies, businesses and exhibitors and Co-op Bank will be among the exhibitors.
The International Investment Conference is slated for February 27 to February 29, 2024.
The Homa Bay International Investment Conference will showcase the county’s competitive advantage, unveil bankable investment opportunities in the county and the lake region.
Homa Bay county governor Gladys Wanga said the conference will mobilise investments in the core value chains of fish, edible oil, sweet potato and pineapple processing.
Top government officials, business magnates and investors are expected to be in attendance.
