Co-op Bank grant four-year fully paid scholarships to deserving students in Kilifi county
The Co-operative Bank of Kenya, Kilifi branch has granted four-year fully paid scholarships to five deserving students in Kilifi county.
While receiving the scholarships at his office today, Kilifi governor Gideon Mung’aru lauded the tier-one lender for the kind gesture of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by coming to the aide of deserving students.
“Today, Co-operative Bank Kilifi Branch Manager Wilberforce Musyoki granted four-year full paid scholarships to five deserving students from Magarini, Kaloleni, Ganze, Kilifi North, and Kilifi South Sub counties through the Co-operative Bank Foundation program. This donation boosts our scholarship fund, and we remain dedicated to creating an atmosphere where education drives positive transformation.” The governor noted.
Co-operative Bank provides full school fees scholarships for the entire four years of secondary education.
University scholarships are awarded to the best performing students from each region.
The Co-operative Bank Foundation scholarship program was launched in 2007.
The scholarships are awarded on merit to gifted but needy students from all regions of Kenya.
