Fiery South Africa opposition leader Julius Malema has hit out at president William Ruto for failing to deliver the promises he made to Kenyans during the campaign period.
According to Malema, Ruto has changed and he is no longer the person he was while he was urging Kenyans to vote for him.
“I do not if president Ruto means it because I cannot locate him nowadays. The things he said during the elections and the things he’s doing now are two different things.” He said.
Malema reminded Kenyans that during the election resident Ruto promised to build Kenya’s currency and do away with the dollar but his actions like putting a red carpet recently for the King Charles III during his visit to Kenya do not indicate doing it.
“I heard him say that we need to do away with the dollar and build our own currency but his actions do not speak of anything of doing away with the dollar.” Malema stated.
The Economic Freedom Fighters Party leader said president Ruto does not “follow the true cause of African fighters who were killed and tortured by the colonialists.”
Malema said it was wrong for the head of state to shake hands and smile with the King and Queen.
He added that African leaders have a duty to remind the British Monarchy what they did to their forefathers who fought for independence.
The outspoken leader said King Charles III showed no remorse in his apology and will never say sorry because according to Malema the King feels superior and cannot apologize to his juniors.
“He showed no remorse because fell short of I apologize though he said that it was bad and should not have happened. He will never say sorry because he feels he is superior and cannot apologize to his juniors.
Malema asked the Kenya government to be firm and either be Pan Africans or proponents of neo-Coloniolism.
