Former Industrialisation Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohamed has been appointed the Chief of Strategy Execution in President William Ruto’s government in an announcement contained in Executive Order No. 2 of 2023
Adan has been serving as a member of the president’s Council of Economic Advisors, which is chaired by David Ndii and was earlier this year introduced as Trade Cabinet Secretary during president Ruto’s tour to the United States of America.
In a circular on reorganization of government outlined in Executive Order No. 2 of 2023, the mandate of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei has been expanded.
Koskei has been assigned the responsibility of coordinating with Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries to oversee the administration of all state corporations and established public entities.
He will also facilitate the resolution of operational challenges and major policy concerns as escalated.
The Office of the Secretary to the National Security Council, Monica Juma, will now operate under the Executive Office of the president as well as that of Ndii.
