Mystery continues to linger over the circumstances surrounding the controversial death of Manga Sub County Directorate of Criminal Investigations officer Isaac Thiaka whose body was found at the bottom of a 100 meters’ feet cliff in Nyamira County.
It is not clear whether his death was a result of suicide by plunging to his death or he was thrown off.

According to preliminary police findings, the officer’s body was found about 50 feet down the cliff by a woman who was said to have been collecting firewood on Friday.
She allegedly spotted the body and screamed for attention, attracting the attention of many including police.
The cliff is about 200 meters away from the police station where Thiaka had been minutes earlier before his body was discovered.
Witnesses said the body had a deep cut on the right side of the head and there were traces of blood at the base of the cliff.
