CEO of German pharmaceutical company Merck’ Foundation Dr. Rasha Kelej
to visit Kenya in fisrt African trip

The newly appointed CEO of The Merck Foundation, the philanthropic arm
of leading German pharmaceutical company Merck KGaA (€ 12.8 billion in
2015) has chosen Kenya for her first official trip.

Dr. Rasha Kelej, the new CEO of the Merck Family Foundation is
available in Kenya on July 14, 15 and 17, 2017; to talk about the
acute problem of infertility in Africa and the need to change the
social perception of it in African communities.

The Foundation also is going to launch Merck More than a Mother Media
Recognition Awards, a great opportunity for East African Journalists.

The Media Awards is an initiative by Merck, to raise awareness about
the critical role the media can play in breaking the stigma around
infertility.
