A row has erupted between Jubilee and independent candidates in Bahati constituency after the latter accused their opponents of profiling voters to influence them during voting.
Independent candidate for Kiamaina Ward Charles Maina together with his supporters confiscated forms where voters were registered according to their polling station.
“We are disturbed where some Jubilee Party nominees are collecting voters signatures, ID and phone numbers per polling station on promise financial and monetary support.” Mwaura said.
Some of the recruited agents narrated that they were picked by Kiamaina Ward JP Nominee to register 50 voters per polling station who will be captain in the presidential campaign.
In his response, Kiamaina Ward Jubilee Party nominee Isaac Wahome known as Jambo Kenya acknowledged to be the architect of the forms.
“The forms are mine because I need the information of my voters to enable me interact with them efficiently.” He said.
He distanced Jubilee Party from the forms and also denied allegations that it was a scheme to rigging the election on 8th August.
