Former Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) Director General Francis Wangusi is dead.
According to the authority, Wangusi died this afternoon at the Nairobi Hospital where he had been receiving treatment.
“It is with profound sadness that we have received news on the passing on of former CA Director General Mr. Francis Wangusi which occurred this afternoon at the Nairobi Hospital where he had been receiving treatment,” CA stated.
According to his family, Wangusi had been ailing for a while and was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Wangusi was appointed CA Director General on August 21,2012 and left in August 2019.
