Political bickering has emerged between ODM and Jubilee political
leaders over tour of President Uhuru Kenyatta in Homa Bay county.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to tour the county in a few
weeks’ time to seek votes for his reelection bid.

But Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang’ wants Deputy President William
Ruto be barred from visiting Homa Bay county.

In his speech over the weekend, Kajwang’ told Uhuru to
deter  Ruto from accompanying him in his Homa Bay county
visit.

Speaking at a political rally held at a hotel in Homa Bay
town, Kajwang’ said Ruto should not step into Homa Bay county during
the current electioneering period.

“I have been informed that the President is soon visiting this county.
We are telling him exclude Ruto in his entourage during the visit,”
said Kajwang’.
The senator failed to say why he did not want Ruto to visit Homa Bay County.

But Jubilee politicians in the area led by Karachuonyo MP James Rege
and the party co-ordinator  in Homa Bay county Odhiambo Makowiti
accused Kajwang’ of perpetrating prejudice in Kenya.
