Public universities’ lecturers will today decide on whether to continue with their impending trike or suspend it to give room for negotiations.
Universities Academic Staff Union (Uasu) chairman Mugo K’Olale told The Informer officials will tomorrow meet to decide the date of commencement of indefinite strike.
“The National Executive Committee meets tomorrow morning to consider the logistics for the impending strike,” he said.
The move comes after Education CS Fred Matiang’i appealed to lecturers to withdraw their planned strike assuring that Sh4.7 billion has already been wired to their respective banks.
