Homicide detectives in Kayole are investigating mysterious death of a male adult whose body was found dangling from the rooftop and his head covered with a polythene bag at Sewage area in Ruai.
Dominic Okinyo’s body was discovered by area residents in what police suspect to be a possible of murder. Police are seeking to establish the circumstantial evidence but they have narrowed down to two possible theories if the deceased committed suicide or he was killed and later his body hanged inside his house.
“The body was hanging on a rope tied around his neck and his head covered with a polythene paper inside his rental house,” preliminary police investigations report shows.
Cases of murders within Kayole, Dandora and Buruburu areas have been on the rise linked to armed robberies. The outlawed Gaza gang has been blamed for serial attacks using home-made guns majorly comprising teenagers.
And in Lang’ata Police Station, police are investigating the lsos a licensed civilian gun holder lost his firearm on Monday at 2am.
According to police, Morgan Siloma claimed he forgot his Ceska Pistol serial number B8001468 in a bag that was tucked inside his Range Rover vehicle when he got home at dawn. When he went to check, he told the police he found the bag missing.
Siloma claimed he also lost his passport and firearm permit. However, it is not clear if his car was broken into.
