Political leaders in Narok County allied to the Jubilee Party have called on the IEBC to take stern action on Chama Cha Mashinani Party for failing to control their supporters. The Jubilee leaders who held a Caravan from Mulot all the way to Suswa had a rough time as they were interrupted at various towns including Narok town.
Narok County Governor Samuel Ole Tunai called on the IEBC to take action and stop political interference from opposing parties. Tunai stated that leaders should seek votes in a peaceful manner adding that opposing leaders should not engage in violence.
Narok East MP Ken Kiloku called on IEBC to investigate CCM leaders for allowing their supporters to interrupt Jubilee leaders.
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who drummed up support for the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto termed the actions of CCM as an act of cowardice. He added that Jubilee would win come August 2017.
Narok South MP Korei Lemein and Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruyoit drummed up support for President Uhuru Kenyatta to be reelected.
