Posta Rangers taken through integrity classes ahead of the FKF PL kick off
The Posta Rangers players and officials were today taken through lessons on the integrity of football by the Football Federation of Kenya (FKF) Integrity Officer Mike Kamure.
The team was educated against match-fixing and why it is critical to protect football’s integrity.
They were also taught how to recognise, resist and report suspicious incidents.
Of importance, they were guided how to detect the rampant vice of match-fixing in the game and reporting mechanisms which include the FIFA portal, the FKF Integrity Portal and the FKF Integrity Hotline number +254790115228.
Posta Rangers assistant captain Suleiman Ousman urged his fellow players to comply with the integrity laws of the football game to eradicate match-fixing and help our game grow.
“Despite financial constraints that we are currently facing as players in football, we should strive to uphold our moral compass and desist from match-fixing of our games, so as to have a clean, good and competitive game that in the long run will help attract sponsors to the football game,” said Ousman.
FKF has previously held sessions with Bandari, Kariobangi Sharks, Tusker Ulinzi and KCB in the FKF Premier league with Gor Mahia and Kenya Police scheduled to have a session this Saturday and Monday next week respectively.
