Nyandarua gubernatorial candidate on Jubilee ticket Francis Kimemia has called on the residents of the County to elect only the party’s candidates in the coming General Election.

Speaking during a campaign tour of Ol Kalou constituency today, accompanied by the Party’s Woman Representative candidate Faith Gitau and the area parliamentary candidate, David Kiaraho, Kimemia said by elected Jubilee people was the only way of ensuring President Uhuru Kenyatta’s next government will have majority in parliament.

The other candidates also supported for six-piece voting in Nyandarua, and across the country.

They said this is the only way to ensure president Uhuru Kenyatta is able to govern the country and deliver on pledges.

They said even MCAs should be Jubilee members to ensure the governors are not frustrated by the county assemblies while executing their mandate.
“I was in the government with Mzee Kibaki, but the parliament then belonged to Raila since he had the majority MPs. It will be difficult to govern while the opposition is in control of parliament”, Kimemia said
