Mombasa Republican Council (MRC) Chairman Omar  Hamisi Mwamnuadzi could be dead, his family has claimed.

The family has sensationally claimed that Mwamnuadzi was allegedly killed by unknown people after being abducted some time back in September 2016 while returning home after hearing of his case before a Mombasa Law Court.

He has not been attending hearing of a case in which he has been charged with being with a gun and holding illegal meeting prompting a court to issue numerous warrant of arrests against him.

The family has now demanded that police produce his body so that they can accord him a decent burial.

They claimed that his body was spotted by people in a thicket at Lunga Lunga but it was immediately picked by people who identified themselves as police but they have not bee able to trace it in any of the mortuaries in Coast region.
