Maasai elders and political leaders in Narok have lashed out at the deputy president William Ruto and Majority leader Aden Duale for hate speech.
Speaking in Narok town the leaders called on National Cohesion and Integration Commission Chairman Francis Ole Kaparo to investigate and charge the two over remarks that they made during a rally at Oloropil in Narok North Constituency.
The leaders led by Narok North MP Moitalel ole Kenta expressed disappointment that Aden Duale always made insults whenever he visited Narok.
Kenta stated that it was such reckless remarks that had pushed leaders out of Jubilee Party. The MP added that hate speech could spark violence in Narok especially now that we are headed toward elections.
Maasai elder Joseph ole Kaaria noted that Jubilee leadership is panicking because the Maa community had moved to ODM. He pointed out that the deputy president and Aden Dual should be brought to book for making hate speech remarks.
