The New Embu county Jubilee Party Interim officials have dismissed allegations that the party is now dead in the county following the acrimonious party nominations that saw half of the officials join PNU.
The new officials have accused former Interim officials who recently joined PNU for sabotaging the management of the party in the county assuring residents that Jubilee party is still strong in the county.
This comes after former officials led by immediate former Interim Jubilee party chairman Elias Kathiga, Secretary Johnstone Nyaga and treasure John Ikothe and a host of other officials defected to PNU.
The new officials claim that the departed officials have selfish interest and that why they failed in the leadership and management of the party affairs adding that the party is very vibrant and will win all the seats in the county come August elections.
Speaking after a meeting with the 19 interim officials in the Jubilee party office
Embu town the new Chairman Jackson Nguru Karira has accused the former officials for rocking the party from within and failing to show leadership for the time they were in office.
Karira said that the former chairman Kathiga who is now the running mate of PNU gubernatorial candidate Kithinji Kiragu was fronted by Runyenjes MP Cecily Mbarire his interest was to ensure that Mbarire wins Jubilee nominations and not popularizing the party.
