A Matatu driver was yesterday charged in a Molo court of causing death by dangerous driving killing six family members in a tragic road accident at Sobea along Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Patrick Nyaga who appeared before chief magistrate, Samuel Wahome was facing six counts of murder charges where he denied the charges and was released on a Sh2 million bond.

Mr Nyaga who survived the crash faced other charges of dangerous driving and speeding in the busy highway.
In his mitigation Nyaga told the court that he is so remorseful for the crash adding that it was never his intention to cause a crash.
He urged the court to release him on bond.
“It was not any of my will to cause the crash on that day. I survived and am very remorseful I urge the court to release me on bond,” Said Nyaga
The family members perished on the fateful day were on their way to Ol-Kalou in Nyandarua County for a dowry ceremony of their kin when they met their untimely death.
It is said that the matatu they were travelling in rammed into a trailer as the driver was overtaking.
The magistrate in his ruling released the accused on a Sh 2 million bond or an alternative cash bail of Sh 300,000 awaiting hearing of his case.
