A police constable shot a bar owner before killing himself over a Sh430 bill at a bar in Elburgon town in Molo sub-county this morning.

Isaac Wanjala, who was based at Elburgon police station, died at the scene after shooting himself from the chin where the bullet exited from the upper side of the head.

Bar owner Sammy Osoro, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to Elburgon hospital and later transferred to Nakuru Provincial Hospital.

A report filed at the station says Wanjala attacked Osoro at about 2.25am.
