Some members of Nairobi County Assembly have accused Governor Anne Kananu of incompetence.
Waithaka Member of County Assembly Anthony Kiragu alleged that Governor Kananu is always seen in bars and nightclubs, however, not within her workplace, to assist the folks of Nairobi.
He regretted the county’s decision to elevate her to that high office of Governor of Nairobi.
“If there is something that was done wrong in this county, then it was making Kananu the Governor of Nairobi. She is an absentee in her office. She does nothing and pockets her salary,” Kiragu claimed.
He, additionally, stated the times she is seen within the workplace – always she is drunk.
“She is accused of being drunkard and is always drinking in nightclubs. She shows up in the office while drunk.
The bottle she moves around with contains alcohol and not water. We shall soon discuss this as an Assembly,” he added.
During the protest of Metropolis Corridor employee’s final week, the identical points of Kananu being incompetent came up and she was being accused of having fun in Kilifi while she claimed to be in Dubai.
