President Uhuru Kenyatta has commended Kiambu County residents for participating in large numbers in the just concluded Jubilee Party nominations.

Speaking at Witeithie Stage in Juja Sub-County during an impromptu tour of Ruiru, Juja and Thika Sub-Counties, the President said Kiambu residents demonstrated they were fully behind the Jubilee government.

President Kenyatta who was accompanied by his Deputy William Ruto said Kiambu residents had peacefully conducted the nominations. He said the people had decided who they wanted to lead them. He said jubilee will never force leadership down the throats of Kenyans.

“Kenyans have spoken. Some have been sent packing while new faces have been answered in by the electorate,” the President said. He said told nominated leaders to be cautious. The same way your predecessors were sent packing is the same way you will be kicked out if you don’t perform.

He said out gone leaders thought 5 years were a century. He said his administration upholds people’s decision and would work with the leadership nominated by the people. He said Jubilee would continue to ensure equitable distribution of the national cake in all parts of the nation.

He said unlike NASA, Jubilee was committed in national development while NSA was selfishly sharing power. “NASA is preoccupied in sharing power as bread while ours is to serve mwanchi,” said Kenyatta. He said NASA’s main agenda on “assuming” power is to use billions of shillings to pereal the constitution so that they can create more seats to quench the political thirst.
