Schools have started opening for the third term of the 2021 academic year as parents complain about financial pressure to raise school fees for their children.
This term comes after schools suffered arson attacks that spread across the country leaving parents with extra burden of paying hefty fines to repair destroyed school infrastructure.
Luckily, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, has made it possible for parents to comfortably pay school fees for their children through MCo-op cash salary loan.
One can apply for a Mco-op cash Salary Advance of up to 500,000 shillings with a repayment period of up to 3 months.
“Dial *667# or use the Mco-op cash app and login with your Mco-op cash pin, select bank transfer, select other Co-op accounts and enter the school Co-op account,” says the lender.
“Select the account to transfer from then enter the amount you want to pay. Enter the reason for payment: student’s name or admission number and confirm the transaction. You will receive a confirmation SMS.”
Parents can also conveniently pay school fees through MCo-opCash, M-Pesa PayBill 400222, PesaLink, or at a Co-op Kwa Jirani agent.
The best thing about Mco-op Cash, despite being fast and convenient, is that you have an opportunity to get a loan within the shortest time possible so that you can pay the school fees and be given up to three months to pay back.
One can also visit a Co-op Kwa Jirani and conveniently pay school fees by depositing cash in the school’s Co-op Bank account for free.
“You will get a receipt showing the payment details. The process is fast and quick,” states the lender.
