Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader is expected to launch his presidential bid on Friday this week at Moi International Stadium Kasarani.
Speaking at AIPCA Njiru Church, Raila said he has been going round the country seeking views from Kenyans on whether to vie for Presidency.
“…I urge you all to show up in large numbers and get ready for the biggest announcement. If you want to know whether I will go on, let us all meet at Kasarani stadium,” he said
Raila, whose indications show that he will be on the ballot in next year’s election, has been championing the Azimio la Umoja initiative while listing his 2022 manifesto.
In August, Odinga launched his Azimio la Umoja campaign slogan in Nakuru County which mirrored his call for unity.
He unveiled his strategic plan aimed at uniting the country ahead of the 2022 General election dubbed as ‘Azimio la Umoja’ which he says provides a conducive environment for the realization of the Vision 2030 development plan.
Odinga said the objective was to dissect problems facing the country, among them political inclusion, divisive electoral processes, insecurity, corruption and reviving the economy.
