Suspect in the Quiver Lounge shooting incident is set to face murder charges after one of the victims died in hospital.
The victim, Festus Musyoka died at Nairobi Hospital yesterday where he has been since July 2 when he was shot in the neck.
Dickson Mararo injured the deceased who was attached to Starehe Directorate of Criminal Investigation in the neck, Constable Lawrence Muturi attached to Kasarani Petty Crime Unit in the hand and a waitress Felistus Nzisa was shot in the stomach on July 2,2021.
Mararo was released on Sh5 million bail or an alternative Sh10 million bond, however, he is in custody after he failed to raise the money.
He moved to court to seek the bail terms be reduced.
In October, he applied to trial magistrate Esther Kimilu to review the bond terms so that he can leave prison and attend his trial while outside.
Milimani Law Courts Principal Magistrate Esther Kimilu also ordered Mararo never to be issued with a firearm while his Glock pistol, will remain confiscated until the case is determined.
The body of the deceased has been transfered to Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos.
