An embattled private contractor who is silently fighting a flurry of alleged fraudulent tender awards in various institutions including the Judiciary is likely to suffer a major blow after internal auditors at Kiambu County flagged inspection report clearance for the supply of skips and litter bins by Manyota Limited at a cost of Sh7.4million.
Investigations by The Informer have established the auditors’ query has informed delays in settling the payment.
The acrimony has sparked internal rift amongst senior county managers with one faction pushing for settlement of the pending bill while others want auditors to formally cite the query.
