Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party of Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto is divided on which to support between Jubilee and NASA parties for the Presidential seat.

Ruto has, however, shown clearest indications that his party will support a NASA candidate.

Ruto said today that he had held discussions with the NASA team and will be meeting the elders later this week to give them a response.

The Governor does not mind who the NASA team will pick to fly the party’s ticket noting whoever will be endorsed will have their full support.

He ruled out talks with the Jubilee Party saying:“The Jubilee leadership has constantly insulted us and so making it hard for us to approach them.”

The party held a delegates’ meeting in Bomet some three weeks ago and mandated the party leader to engage the two coalitions and later give a feedback but such has yet to be finalized even as the party prepares for its primaries that will kick off this week.
