Members of the Private Bikers Association of Kenya held peaceful demonstrations protesting the murder of the four young men in Kitengela.
Fred Muriithi, 30, his younger brother Victor Mwangi, 25, and their two cousins Mike George, 29, and Nicholas Musa, 28, were lynched by villagers on suspicion of being livestock thieves.
The motorcycle riders accompanied by the deceased’s family members, paralyzed operations on Mombasa road towards Kitengela demanding speedy investigations.
Lucy Wanjiru, the mother to Muriithi and Mwangi, condemned reports that her sons and their friends by irate villagers who thought they were out to steal their cattle.
“I want justice to be done cause my children are not criminals,” she said.
“Ningetaka haki itendeke kwa sababu watoto wangu si wahalifu.”
The riders also condemned the profiling of persons with dreadlocks.
Police are yet to arrest any suspect in connection with the deaths however, Isinya Directorate of Criminal Investigation boss says investigations have lead on two main suspects who are currently on the run.
Muriithi and Mwangi will be laid to rest at their rural home in Nyahururu, Laikipia County on Friday.
