National Police Service Commission(NPSC) chairman Johnston Kavuludi has said the police are ready to provide enough security during and after the elections.

Kavuludi while speaking in Vihiga County on Monday when he paid courtesy call to Governor Moses Akaranga said they are well prepared for elections with police Inspector general Joseph Boinet to ensure Kenyans conduct peaceful elections.

“I and the Inspector general of police Joseph Boinet are well prepared and ready to provide security during and after elections to ensure there is security in the country,” disclosed Kavuludi.

Kavuludi said the police officers have been deployed to all corners of the country and more will be send to beef up security to ensure there is no element of insecurity during elections.
