A former employee of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) is asking the High Court to salvage her 100 acre farm valued at Sh550million in Kajiado County.
The former UNHCR said title deed for the land was forged to a secure a Sh 50million loan from Sidian Bank Limited.
And Sidian Bank Limited which advanced the loan of Sh50 million to Zenith Pharmaceuticals Limited is urging the court to issue orders restraining the sale of the farm or transfering it to a third party pending the hearing and determination of the case on April 6 2017.
The loan from the bank was secured when former lands cabinet secretary Charity Ngilu had ordered that all land registries be closed for auditing.
The former UNHCR employee , Ms LA Olwalo says in her court papers that she was surprised and shocked to learn from auctioneers that her property had been used to obtain a bank loan without her knowledge.
