The Jubilee leadership in Narok County has called on teachers within the county to vote in Jubilee Party in the next general elections.
Speaking during a meeting with teachers drawn from all constituencies in Narok, Narok Governor Samuel Ole Tunai called on teachers to ensure that they campaign for Jubilee. Tunai stated that during last elections CORD leader Raila Odinga won Narok votes adding that the trend should be changed.
Tunai called on the teachers to review Jubilee’s track record and compare it to the opposition’s. The governor pleaded with teachers to support Jubilee pointing out that it is hard to bargain for development from the government if the region votes the opposite way.
However the teachers urged the government to look into hardship allowances if they want votes.
