A witness in an inquest for the late Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo told a Machakos Court that the Senator complained of fatigue a period to his mysterious death.
Stella Mwendwa was responding to a question by the state prosecutor Mr Joseph Gikonyo in an hearing presided over by Resident Magistrate Kipkurui Kibelion.
She served as a personal secretary to the late Senator for 10 years.
She told the packed court that Mutula Snr had lost weight but attributed it to the season of sheer political campaigns.
“Despite the fact that he was always complaining of fatigue and had seemingly shed weight, I thought i t was due to hard campaigns he had done”, Said Stella.
This was a fourth witness to testify in the case, court sources revealed that there was a Doctor who was to give his version but did not turn up.
Hearing of the next witness is set for June 27th, 2017.
Mutula was found dead at his Kwa Kyelu Ranch in Machakos County on the morning of April 27-2013/
There have been speculations on what killed this first Makueni Senator ranging from a possible poison, heart attack,Viagra overdose, snake bite to polonium poisoning.
