The ongoing mass voter registration campaign drive continues to take various forms meant to lure potential unregistered voters with ODM party taking the exercise a notch higher by incorporating the daughter of party leader Raila Odinga Ms Rosemary Odinga.

Residents of Marigat town in Baringo County were yesterday treated to a surprise when Ms Odinga who is hardly seen in public engaging in politics.

When Ms Odinga took to the podium, the whole crowd who braved the scorching sun jostled to see with their naked eyes the daughter of the controversial opposition leader who had visited Baringo for the first time in her lifetime.

Ms Odinga who was accompanied by Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi said she had to come out of her comfort zone to join ODM leaders in the voter registration campaign drive and to drum support for his father’s political ambition.

Memusi took advantage of the platform to hit out at his former predecessor General Joseph Nkaisery accusing him for engaging in active politics instead of concentration in his work as the Cabinet Secretary for Interior.
