Leaders in Baringo county led by former nominated Senator Harold Kipchumba have opted to take petition to International Criminal Court (ICC) over escalating insecurity resulting from cattle rustling and banditry in the county.

The leaders who were speaking at Kabarnet museum grounds after a insecurity demo also told government to stop supplying relief food to Tiaty constituency inhabited by the Pokot community who are the aggressors of insecurity in Baringo and entire North Rift region.

MCA Makilap asked all professionals from Pokot community who are working in the county and national government departments within Baringo to immediately go to their homes and talk to the bandits and cattle rustlers who are from their community.

During the meeting held Friday afternoon that brought together almost 500 people the residents passed 11 resolutions which they handed over to Baringo Central County Commissioner  Alfred Mwandale.
