Red Cross is calling on Kenyans to turn up at various blood donation centres across the country in aid of the victims of the Dusit terror attack.
Those in Nairobi have been requested to go at the Bomb Blast Memorial while those in Mombasa have been asked to go to the Kenya Red Cross Offices on Moi Avenue, opposite the University of Nairobi, Mombasa Branch.
“The public in Kisumu is urged to go and donate blood to support victims of the #RiversideAttack at the Regional Blood Transfusion Centre next to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital,” Red cross said in a tweet.
The humanitarian aid agency said it has also set up additional tracing and psychosocial teams at Chiromo mortuary.
“Those searching for their loved ones may either check at the Chiromo hostels along the road to Dusit D2 Hotel or Chiromo mortuary,” it said.
It said the families searching for their loved ones can also dial 1198 or 0715-820-219 for help.
Scores of people were injured in the Dusit attack that started off at around 3pm on Tuesday.
At least 15 people had been reported dead by Wednesday morning with a senior police officer saying six attackers had been killed.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to address the country over the attacks on Wednesday morning.
