Normalcy is slowly returning in the public transport sector a day after the government commencement a crackdown on vehicles flouting traffic rules.
On Monday, commuters across the country had to walk to work after the Matatu operators went strike to protest against the return of Michuki rules.
Addressing the press, after the operators called off the strike, the Federation of Public Transport Operators chairperson Edwin Mukabana, said that they reached a consensus on the way forward after a meeting with Interior Principal secretary Karanja Kibicho.
